One of the many joyous things about preparing a portfolio for college is that in particular area’s it can be expensive. For instance, an A2 print in full colour CYMK can cost 10 quid a sheet. Being that im primarily applying for visual communication courses you can see the problem, and subsequent monetary issues that arise. Its wank. The solution, of course, is to find yourself a job.

Now, I myself have never actually been very lucky with Jobs, and the last 2 jobs ive had have ended in redundancy. Recently ive been living off the remnant’s of my bank account and attempts at finding a new job has been at most, unsuccessful and mostly stressful. I just cant seem to get one, and the two interviews ive gotten for x-mas sales staff temps have left me deflated of any hope of scoring a job, being that they never bothered to call me back. The heartless inconsiderate bastards.

So the search continues, and hopefully something will come up. If anything this experience has pushed me more than ever to complete a compelling portfolio for college so that im not stuck again and I can get qualifications for a great job. Until then though, my bank account suffers, and no nights out for me. Bastarding shit.
